Does your teen need
They make hasty, poorly-considered decisions and need to have better judgment.
They’re being bullied at school – or they’re the one doing the bullying. They don’t get enough exercise or need to lose weight.
They have low self-esteem and seem to be down all the time. They give up when things get difficult and fail to meet their goals.
Raising a teenager requires persistence & patience
It can test your sanity even at the best of times. Yet, you want the best for your teenager. You want them to have the tools they need to succeed now and later in life – and you’d like that to happen without having to pull out all your hair in the process. Getting them to do anything you want them to do can feel utterly impossible, and you’re not sure where to start.
Studying martial arts helps kids learn how to overcome their problems and learn important lessons – the kind of lessons that will follow them to your home, to the classroom, and for the rest of their lives.
your teen will grow with every class!
Teenagers who study martial arts learn the benefits of self-control and discipline with every lesson. Our classes emphasize core values like discipline, respect, and persistence. Students learn that the way they treat others – in and out of the dojo – reflects on them as people and affects their ability to achieve their goals.
I highly recommend Neutral Ground. My daughter is in the Little Ninjas class and LOVES it. We've tried other things (dance, ice skating, karate) and nothing ever really kept her engaged. This does. I really can't say enough great things about this place.
We initially enrolled our 7 year old son at Neutral Ground in Grafton for his birthday. One year later, he looks forward to coming into practice two times per week, because he feels welcome and safe to explore. The staff, and instructors are excellent with the children, and even more importantly, continue to improve as coaches. I personally have bennifited as a parent watching these classes and sharing these moments with my son.
This place offers more to our life than Martial Arts. Our 9 year old son has finally found something he loves to do and it is helping him to become a stronger person mentally, emotionally, and physically. We love the character traits of the month and the powerful projects that the kids are working on that make them think about morals and what it means to have good character and be respectful! Highly recommend.
We enrolled our son at neutral ground more than a year ago. In that short amount of time I have seen my son make leaps and bounds both physically, and in the way he shows confidence, maturity, and hard work both on and off the mat. The owner, coaches, and the people and kids that train there are second to none. Now both myself and my son train there regularly and I have lost 60 lbs from training, and more importantly we have fun! Tannar and I love training here and would definitely recommend it to anyone.
