We initially enrolled our 7 year old son at Neutral Ground in Grafton for his birthday. One year later, he looks forward to coming into practice two times per week, because he feels welcome and safe to explore. The staff, and instructors are excellent with the children, and even more importantly, continue to improve as coaches. I personally have bennifited as a parent watching these classes and sharing these moments with my son.

My daughter started with Little Ninja class last August. Through this program at Neutral Ground, she has grown more attentive, more confident, better disciplined, and not to mention physically stronger. She now is competing in Grappling Competitions. I've joined Kickboxing/MMA class and lost a decent amount of weight recently as well. Neutral Ground is an extension of our family, and you should come check us out!

I highly recommend Neutral Ground. My daughter is in the Little Ninjas class and LOVES it. We've tried other things (dance, ice skating, karate) and nothing ever really kept her engaged. This does. I really can't say enough great things about this place.

We couldn’t be happier at Neutral Ground in Grafton! We started with a 6-week trial in 2016 and have been at the dojo 2 to 5 hours every week since! This place offers more to our life than Martial Arts. Our 9 year old son has finally found something he loves to do and it is helping him to become a stronger person mentally, emotionally, and physically. We love the character traits of the month and the powerful projects that the kids are working on that make them think about morals and what it means to have good character and be respectful! We enrolled our son at neutral ground more than a year ago. In that short amount of time I have seen my son make leaps and bounds both physically, and in the way he shows confidence, maturity, and hard work both on and off the mat. The owner, coaches, and the people and kids that train there are second to none. Now both myself and my son train there regularly and I have lost 60 lbs from training, and more importantly we have fun! Tannar and I love training here and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Do I need to be in shape before I start Kickboxing?

Short answer; absolutely not! We have members of all health and fitness levels, and our classes are designed to fit around each one of these levels.

The only thing we ask is that you bring your best attitude when you come to one of our classes. If you have the mental framework determined to become physically healthy, that is all we want to see. Our trainers will help you get into the best shape of your life!

Can I lose weight with the Fitness Kickboxing program?

Of course. Although, we must say you get what you put in. If you follow a consistent workout pattern, you are bound to see the results you want. On average, kickboxers burn an average of 820 calories per hour.

Do I need any kickboxing experience?

No, we love teaching new members. There is no better way to gain respect from our community than someone who has the will to join our class without any experience. If you can take that first step, you have already proven to our group that you are a strong-minded individual. We will teach you everything you need to know.

Does the physical training include weights or machines?

Most of the training comes from the natural, isotonic, aerobic, anaerobic, and isometric exercises, although, some weight training may be recommended or used. These exercises help our members with losing weight and toning the whole body; our focus is for you to develop speed, flexibility, and force.

What should I wear or bring?

Sweats and a T-shirt, or yoga attire, work best. You’ll also want to bring a towel and a bottle of water. And of course bring the mental attitude that you’re going to kill this workout!

How often should I attend classes?

We understand how busy your life can be; we would love to see you at least once a week. We believe once a week will be a good start for you to build your overall endurance and capability to implement the basic kickboxing moves.

Once you have built the basic foundation of the Kickboxing moves, we encourage you to then increase the amount of frequency and intensity of your workouts. We want you to go at your own pace, but make sure to challenge yourself to see the best results.
